iPowerHour 3 (Finally) Released 2-05-2008
After a year hiatus iPowerHour 3 is finally available. It adds advanced scripting support, giving you more control of how you play the game. It is now very easy to select on a track by track basis where a song should start and for how long it plays. On the burning end it should be far more stable than previous release. iPowerHour 3 FULLY supports Windows Vista. Enjoy and there is more to come.
Temporary Fix For Vista Burning 10-06-2007
There is a post in the forum now about how to get burning to work in Vista so if you need to do that check that out. This fix will be incorporated in the upcoming version. iPowerHour works in Vista other than not being able to create burnable playlists without any changes. The main functionality of generating power hours on the fly from iTunes never had issues.
Burning in Windows Vista 8-13-2007
I just discovered the burning functionality does not work in Windows Vista. A new version should be out soon and there should be a fix included. Regular play through your computer is still functional in Vista. I'll keep you all up to date.
Site Updates 6-26-2007
I did a little bit of work on the site during the last couple days. The forum is now back up and should not be bot free. There was a point where I was getting 25 bot posts a day about viagra, steroids, and credit scores so thats why it came down. I wrote some custom code that should keep shit like that off of there for the most part. Additionally I I added links to share the site. If you are a member of digg, Stumble Upon, or any of the other services I provided links to, if you enjoy the program tell your friends and spread the word on the web.
The next version of iPowerHour is almost ready for release, I'd estimate it will be up within a week or two. Check back soon.

Virginia Tech Love. 4-16-2007
Everyone-I typically don't put shit on this site other than information that directly pertains to iPowerHour or drinking. That being said, today's events at Virginia Tech were horrific and after spending 4 years at Virginia Tech with the only violence being the occasional drunken fist fight, overwhelmingly shocking. To the Virginia Tech community and especially those directly affected by random violence, much love and I hope your pain fades with time.

iPowerHour Turns 2. Celebrates 50,000 Downloads. 2-02-2007
In two short years iPowerHour has managed to revolutionize the way people get drunk. As we celebrate the second birthday we also mark the 50,000 download of the program. We thank everyone who has downloaded the program and hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have. There is much more to come, including a new drinking related project that should make its debut in the coming months, and new features and updates for iPowerHour itself. We appreciate the support, check back regularly, and also enjoy the new iPowerHour 2.5.

iPowerHour 2.3 Released 7-28-2006
iPowerHour 2.3 is a complete rewrite of the burning engine. It's sexy, it's faster, and it fixes basically all previous bugs. The one thing it doesn't fix is the inability to burn songs from the iTunes Music Store. Unfortunately these tracks are protected; my best advice is if you want to be able to burn these tracks: search Google for DRM Removal and convert them to MP3s. That being said these tracks work fine when you iPowerHour off of your computer. There is more to come; much more is in the works so keep a watch on the site and enjoy the current version.
iPowerHour Reaches 25,000 Downloads 7-17-2006
It's been less than a year and a half and we've hit 25,000 downloads. There is more to come, the program and website arent by any means finished, and you should be seeing another major release of both by the end of the summer. I'll keep you updated along the way.

iPowerHour 2.2 has been released. It is mainly an update to the skin. Work has been done on the burning engine but this won't likely appear until the next version which should be due out within the next month. The website should be going through a great deal of work over the next month as well so stay tuned.
New Version Soon 5-14-2006
Schools out for the summer so I've been putting some work in trying to make the burning engine even better and reskining the interface to the new iTunes look. There should be a bunch of other small improvements and it should be out in the next couple weeks, definately check back for it.

Includes much better support for burning, some minor gui fixes, and the ability to play and burn with no clip betwen songs. The most important change by far is the ability to create burnable playlists without a clip in between songs. This is essential because people were having problem when they had 60 songs, 60 sound clips (a total of 120 tracks on the playlist) and couldn't burn a CD because iTunes can only burn CDs with up to 99 tracks. Eat it up.

Hey everyone, sorry the site hasn't been updated in a little bit. Schools been a little overwhelming so I haven't got around to doing all that much. There will be more updates of the site and iPowerHour soon. I hope everyone is partying hard with version 2 and check back often, you'll hear from me soon.
